PLEASE do not use DoS and DDoS interchangeably. It confuses all the noobs. Just to clarify things -
DoS - (Denial of Service) up to 2 computers iare taking up the bandwidth of a (typically) small or free website. Often the website goes back up as soon as the DoS stops. USes tools like the one above.
DDoS - (Distributed Denial of Service) 3 or more computers are taking up the bandwidth of a small, medium, or large website. OFten uses irc bots or certain trojans to launch the attack. Can cause major downtime, and sometimes produce bad after effects.
So, there are the definitions. Everyone please use them correctly
